Solar Opposites hasn’t even begun its fourth season and Hulu is already wanting more: The streamer announced today at New York Comic-Con that it has renewed the series for a fifth season.

Adult Swim’s Emmy-winning animated comedy Rick and Morty is off to a strong start following its Season 6 premiere. The debut episode drew more than 1 million viewers in L+3, up 57% from its September 4 premiere. Those numbers will likely continue to grow as the Season 6 premiere episode “Solaricks” is available for streaming on Adult Swim’s YouTube channel until September 27.

Due to an accidental “reset” in portal travelers on the Season 6 opener, “Solaricks,” rather than Rick’s intended reset of port travel after the collapse of the Citadel and Evil Morty’s escape through the Central Finite Curve blew it all to hell in the Season 5 finale, Rick, Morty and Jerry were each pulled back into their original worlds/realities.

Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon has revealed plans to release a new season of the show every year.Ahead of the show’s sixth season, Harmon discussed the future of Rick and Morty in an interview with TheWrap.“This is the strangest thing I’ve ever said about the show and it still feels unreal to say it, but we’ll be doing a season a year now,” Harmon said.“I still don’t understand how that’s possible. But that’s why it never happened on my watch.

High On Life will receive downloadable content (DLC) and other post-launch additions, developer Squanch Games confirmed at Gamescom after showing off more in-game footage.The sci-fi first-person shooter is being developed by Squanch Games, the studio founded by the co-creator of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland. Earlier this year, at Summer Game Fest, the game was announced and since then more and more information has gone public leading up to its release later this year.At Gamescom 2022, High On Life showed off 25 minutes of footage and the development team were present to discuss the future of the game.

Capes, a new “high-octane superhero drama,” with turn-based RPG elements. It is currently slated to release in 2023.Capes is currently available to Wishlist on Steam, and is described as a turn-based strategy game.

For “Rick and Morty,” the process is “not scientific,” according to Dan Harmon.The Harmon and Justin Roiland-created Adult Swim series, which has twice won the Emmy for outstanding animated series — first for the Season 3 episode “Pickle Rick” and then for Season 4’s “The Vat of Acid Episode” — has offered up “Mort Dinner Rick Andre” as its Season 5 contender at next month’s Emmys.“We just looked at it as a really nice overall success from every department on the show,” Harmon told Variety ahead of the “Rick and Morty” Season 6 premiere on Sept. 4.

Carson Burton “Succession” actress Sarah Snook and Australian comedian Demi Lardner have joined the cast of the upcoming Hulu animated comedy series “Koala Man.” Both were announced at the “Koala Man” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday.Snook is set to play Vicky, who believes her husband Kevin — middle-aged father as well as the somewhat pathetic titular hero —  is just going through a phase. She tolerates Koala Man, a superhero whose only superpower is an intense passion for following rules and snuffing out petty crime in the Australian town of Dapto. However, Vicky hopes someday Kevin will snap out of his bizarre mid-life crisis so that he can show her the passion she feels is missing.

Harold Hill, er Hugh Jackman, has lined up a new gig: he’ll voice Big Greg in the upcoming Hulu Original animated comedy series Koala Man.
