Unless you’ve been actively avoiding the internet lately, it seems there’s one thing on everyone’s minds right now – Saltburn. A combination of black comedy and psychological thriller, the movie has been just about all anyone can talk about since it dropped onto Amazon Prime at the end of December, and if there’s one thing that’s got everyone excited (no, not that bathtub scene), it’s the early 2000s setting.

He’s currently the talk of the town in Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn which, as well as still playing in some cinemas, is also available on Amazon Prime Video, and now it looks like Jacob Elordi is set to play the monster in Guillermo del Toro’s Dr. Frankenstein. The Dr Frankenstein film has been long in development with del Toro and following delays with the recent strikes, it finally looks like it is set to hit production soon.The news comes via Deadline who reports that Elordi will replace Andrew Garfield on the high-profile project after he left due to scheduling conflicts.
