‘Saltburn’ star Jacob Elordi to play the monster in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein film

Frankenstein. The Dr Frankenstein film has been long in development with del Toro and following delays with the recent strikes, it finally looks like it is set to hit production soon.The news comes via Deadline who reports that Elordi will replace Andrew Garfield on the high-profile project after he left due to scheduling conflicts.
Oscar Isaac is playing the title character of Dr. Frankenstein in the film, alongside Mia Goth with del Toro writing, producing and directing.
Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley and Christian Convery are also among the cast of the picture.Based on the famous Mary Shelley novel, the story revolves around Victor Frankenstein who manages to bring a monster to life following a ground-breaking experiment.
