Thousands of students transitioning into high school will receive a special book to help the movement become easier.

A support programme designed to help young people during the cost of living crisis will be back during the autumn half-term break. 'Loads To Do' will see a variety of activities put on during the holidays. Young people will be given the chance to take part and get a free meal.

Children across Manchester will be offered free lunches and activities over Easter. The programme will be held at schools, youth centres and parks.
