Ryan Murphy’s next ‘Monster’ story will star Tom Hollander as Alfred Hitchcock
Monster series will see Tom Hollander star as Alfred Hitchcock.Murphy recently announced that season three will star Charlie Hunnam as the 1950s serial killer Ed Gein. He became infamous when authorities discovered that he not only had killed multiple people, but had dug up graves from a cemetery near his home and fashioned all manner of household items and clothing from human remains. Now according to Variety, Hollander, Hacks star Laurie Metcalf and The Crown‘s Olivia Williams have been added to the cast.Metcalf will play Gein’s mother, Augusta, while Williams will play Alma Reville, Hitchcock’s wife.It is thought that because Gein served as one of the inspirations for Norman Bates and Hitchcock’s film Psycho, season three of the hit Netflix anthology will delve into how his crimes influenced the film and the novel upon which the movie was based.Hollander recently worked with Murphy on the second season of Feud as Truman Capote in the the series.Elsewhere, Murphy recently suggested that he might not be finished with Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.Following the news that a court hearing has been set for Erik and Lyle Menendez, and that new evidence that they were allegedly molested by their father is now being considered, Murphy has expressed an interest in extending the season. The show charts the brothers’ conviction and sentencing to life in prison for the first-degree murder of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, in 1989.Following its release Erik blasted Murphy in a statement, calling the show naive and inaccurate.

‘Monsters’ actor Cooper Koch finally reveals if he used a prosthetic in shower scene
“Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Monday and clarified something about his role as Erik Menendez in Netflix’s smash hit “Monsters.”Andy Cohen was counting down Hollywood’s “top five most iconic full-frontal moments” when Koch announced, “Just to say, mine was not a prosthetic.”“Well, that was gonna be my next question!” Cohen, 56, said to Koch, who smiled at the camera upon making his confession.“Congratulations to you, Cooper,” the “Real Housewives” producer added.“Thank you,” Koch said back.Cohen then told the openly gay actor he’s “very blessed” — to which Koch replied, “Well hung.”Koch had to bare it all for a scene in “Monsters,” which follows the story of Erik and Lyle Menendez, who murdered their abusive parents in 1989 and were sentenced to life in prison in 1996.During Episode 3, Koch’s Erik is showering naked in jail and turns toward another inmate to show him — and the camera — his penis. In an interview with The Wrap last month, Koch revealed the lengths he went to prepare to play Erik in the show.“I turned my trailer into Erik’s room so I had clothes everywhere, and I had pictures of him on the wall, pictures of me too,” Koch said. “I looked at videos of me when I was really young, and I watched how my parents treated me, which gave me a level of gratitude for my family and my parents.”“I listened to [Erik] and watched him religiously,” he added.
