Carey, a stranger to Phish until recently, said that he was a “casual” fan of U2, and had gone to their show at the Sphere after being talked into it by a fan. He was admittedly “blown away” at first, before retracting the statement after seeing Phish’s performance.“It blew my mind how great it was,” he said.

Phish, so the band have sent him a blender. In December, it was announced that Phish would be the next band to take up residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas, following the conclusion of U2’s run. Those four dates took place last week, from April 18-21.
