CBS is honoring the late Bob Barker. The network will air a special, The Price Is Right: A Tribute to Bob Barker, on Thursday (August 31) at 8 p.m.

on CBS, which will stream on Paramount+ as well. The show will be hosted by Drew Carey, who succeeded the late star as host of the competition show in 2007. Keep reading to find out more… The one-hour special will spotlight Bob‘s 50-plus year career, as well as his work as an animal rights activist.

It will include footage from the first episode of what was then The New Price Is Right in 1972, the show’s transformation in 1975, the introduction of the Plinko game, and his final episode as host in 2007.

It will also feature his return to the show alongside Drew for his 90th birthday, April Fool’s Day and other special occasions.
