Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier will give a keynote speech at Mipcom in October, as the event prepares to welcome back several U.S. and UK studios following pandemic-triggered absences.

In today’s traditional doubleheader opening of the upfronts in New York, Fox and NBCUniversal execs took digs at the “paywall” strategy of Netflix and Disney, in the first of many salvos expected this week.

FOX Entertainment is taking on 2022 with TV shows on everything from country music to crime and cooking. Charlie Collier, the CEO of FOX Entertainment, detailed what's to come on the network, including the previously announced "Monarch," which will star Trace Adkins and Susan Sarandon.  The show is about "three generations of a country music family juggling life's rawest emotions — love and lust, hate and heartache, living in the shadow of your parents and coming-of-age," Collier described before previewing a clip of "Monarch." "MasterChef" Gordon Ramsay is set to debut his new competition show, "Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars," and will also have his series "Next Level Chef" premiere after the Super Bowl next February.  In "Food Stars," Ramsay will front $250,000 of his own cash to find the "next big culinary entrepreneur." The missing persons' drama "tells the story of a high-tech police unit whose job is to find the missing, the abducted or kidnapped and help them reunite with their loved ones before it's too late," Foxx said during the presentation.  FOX is also bringing a crime anthology series titled "Accused." The show hails from the creative minds behind "Homeland" and "24" as well as the creator of "House." Marlee Matlin and Billy Porter will direct the first two episodes.

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at LargeFox is bringing back the post-Super Bowl series lead-out, and turning to chef Gordon Ramsay to help do it. The network plans to premiere the second season of Ramsay’s “Next Level Chef” right after Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, Feb.

Both shows are still top performers for Fox and announcements for both series are expected soon.

Fox Entertainment and Hulu have set a comprehensive output deal enabling the Disney-owned service to stream all out-of-season episodes of many Fox series, including all of the network’s unscripted fare.

Selome Hailu Fox Entertainment and Hulu announced a new program output deal allowing Hulu to stream all out-of-season episodes of several Fox unscripted and animated series.Unscripted series that will stream on Hulu under the deal include “The Masked Singer,” “Lego Masters,” “I Can See Your Voice,” “Name That Tune,” “The Masked Dancer,” “Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back,” “MasterChef” and “MasterChef Junior.”“The Masked Singer,” “I Can See Your Voice,” “The Masked Dancer” and “Name That Tune” are produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment. “Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back” is produced by Studio Ramsay Global, the recently formed production entity from Ramsay and Fox Entertainment.
