Eighties singer Carol Decker has confirmed she is doing well as she shared a health update with her concerned fans on Friday after undergoing major surgery.The lead vocalist for band T'Pau, 65, revealed on 1 September that she is now 'in recovery', after taking a selfie in hospital showing herself smiling and doing a peace sign with her fingers.The China In Your Hand singer endured a three-hour long operation on her colon earlier this week after finding "something nasty growing up there". But the icon appeared to be in good spirits as she shared the positive news online and revealed that it was 'benign.' Looking thrilled with the 'all clear' news, Carol took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to update her fans and shared an insight into her recovery journey.

You don't have to sing, you just have to look horrified.""That's what we did and it was just really, really fun."She also revealed the heartwarming dedication that John Challis had put into learning the song especially for the episode and the sweet gift that she received after her appearance, saying: "His wife sent me video footage of him learning the song in his hotel room, which was very touching."Asked if she would ever consider making any further cameos on TV, there was one programme that the star revealed that she would love to appear in - The Masked Singer."I'd love to, but I haven't been asked," said Carol, adding: "I'm surprised I haven't been asked, but I haven't been approached yet.
