Selome Hailu Hulu has renewed “Only Murders in the Building” for a fourth season. The news comes the same day as Hulu’s release of the Season 3 finale. The series follows Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short) and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), three neighbors in a New York City apartment called the Arconia, who came together in Season 1 to record a true crime podcast about the murder of fellow resident Tim Kono (Julian Cihi).

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Flor., which also included Jeff Babko and The Steep Canyon Rangers, the comedic duo unveiled the news while warming up the audience at the start of the show. According to two patrons who were in attendance, Martin and Short were delivering updates on what they were up to recently, showing a picture of them alongside their co-star Selena Gomez and two new cast members for Season 3, Oscar and Emmy winner Meryl Streep and Golden Globe nominee Paul Rudd. At one point, Martin stated, “Catch the new season August 8,” which was followed by Short responding, “Our show is like Steve trying to pee — it streams for 33 minutes.”
