Corrie actor Jack James Ryan 'gutted' as he shares emotional goodbye to departing co-star
Coronation Street actor Jack James Ryan has bid an emotional farewell to his departing co-star Joe Frost.Monday's episode of the ITV soap saw Joe's character Leo Thompkins plunge to his death after being pushed from the Underworld balcony by Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).Leo's death followed him threatening to inform the police after rumbling Stephen's plan to get his hands on the equity from his mother Audrey Roberts' house.READ MORE: Coronation Street's Leo 'still alive' as fans twig unexpected Stephen plot twistAfter being pushed, Leo fell into a bin below the balcony and it was later confirmed that he was dead.Despite some Corrie fans sharing their theory that Leo is 'still alive', Jacob Hay actor Jack James Ryan paid an emotional tribute to Joe on Monday night after his exit scenes aired.Posting to Twitter, Jack revealed he was "gutted" to see Leo killed off on the show and hit out at show bosses for depriving fans of more "Jacob and Leo content".Jack wrote: "Brilliant episode of #Corrie tonight, quality stuff from @matthiltondir. "Gutted to see @Joe_Frost1 go, he’s an absolute class act and a total gent.
