It was expected to go for somewhere between £15,000 and £30,000.Other items that sold belonged to David Bowie, Queen, Oasis, Elvis Presley and Johnny Marr.Elsewhere in the auction, a Gibson guitar that belonged to AC/DC‘s Angus Young did not sell, nor did a limited edition Yellow Submarine Beatles jukebox.A separate high-profile auction will see Tupac’s prison memorabilia go on sale, including a never-before-seen mugshot and prison ID.

A black-and-white leather jacket that Michael Jackson wore in a 1984 Pepsi commercial sold for $306,000 at an auction in London on Friday. The jacket was listed by auctioneers Propstore among items connected to other music legends like Amy Winehouse, George Michael, the Beatles, David Bowie and Elvis, according to BBC News.

He claims that any money made should have gone to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which was set up in the singer’s memory following her death from alcohol poisoning in 2011.Catriona Gourlay and Naomi Parry allegedly gained a portion of £3.3million raised during a 2021 auction in Beverly Hills.

K-pop singer Sunmi has performed a cover of late English singer Amy Winehouse’s hit song ‘Valerie’.In a recent episode of late-night South Korean music talk show The Seasons, hosted by brother-sister duo AKMU, the soloist and ex-Wonder Girls member performed her rendition of the iconic 2006 track.Accompanied by a live band, Sunmi sung an abridged rendition of Winehouse’s cover of The Zutons’ ‘Valerie’, from the deluxe version of the late singer’s second and final studio album ‘Back to Black’. “Won’t you come on over / Stop making a fool out of me / Why don’t you come on over Valerie,” she sings in the chorus.Elsewhere during the episode, Sunmi also performed her latest single ‘Stranger’, which she released digitally earlier this month, as well as her 2020 single ‘pporappippam’.
