Teenage starlet Harvey Elliot has impressed in his first team showings for Liverpool this season and the club's assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders has revealed what Jurgen Klopp thought of Elliot after his first training session with the senior team.
The youngster made the move to Anfield from Fulham as a 16-year-old and has made seven appearances for the first team so far this campaign, mainly in the cup competitions.
Having just turned 17, Elliot is highly rated by Reds boss Klopp and, in an interview with Liverpool’s official website, Lijnders has revealed how soon Elliot caught the German's eye.
