An inquest into the death of Dyanne Mansfield, 71, was opened and adjourned at Stockport Coroners' Court. A pathologist has given a preliminary cause of death as an ‘incised wound to the neck’, the court heard.
Mrs Mansfield’s body was found at her home on Canterbury Road, Hale, on March 24. She was born in Manchester in 1949 and was a retired office manager and freight forwarder, the inquest was told.
Mrs Mansfield was married to husband Graham Mansfield, 72, a retired self-employer gardener, said police coroners officer Alison Catlow.
