Whether it's the L’il Napoleon, the Absolute Banker or the mighty Donkey Punch, the independent brewery has become known for its popular beers and has become an award-winning staple of Manchester's nightlife in just a short few years.

But not many people will know that the popular Manchester beer started in a back garden shed in Timperley. Stubborn Mule started as a passion project for Ed Bright, 42, back when he was working in a bank in the city centre in 2016.
