The video, taken in Buffalo, New York State, shows the 75-year-old in a face mask confronting police during the George Floyd protests in the city.
He has a short conversation before one officer is heard shouting: “Move, get back.” Suddenly, two cops simultaneously shove the man which sends him crashing to the ground with a horrifying thud.
When the camera pans around to show the protester, he appears motionless with blood forming a puddle around his head. The cops who pushed him then seem to be instructed to carry on walking before a third officer can be heard asking for a medic.
