Former midfielder Paul Scholes failed to keep his emotions in check after Manchester United came from behind to beat Aston Villa 3-2 at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.
Trailing 2-0 at half-time, United were on course for a third defeat in their last four Premier League outings. However, two goals from Alejandro Garnacho and a first in the league from Rasmus Hojlund sealed an impressive comeback.
United made the most of Villa's decision to maintain a high defensive line, regularly exploiting spaces and getting in behind their defensive rearguard.
Garnacho caused them no shortage of problems and was only denied a hat-trick because of VAR.
