Jesse Lingard has reportedly cut all ties with his former agents with the Manchester United academy graduate yet to find a new club after being released by Nottingham Forest last summer.

Lingard has not played in nine months, his last appearance coming in the form of a two-minute cameo in Forest’s 2-0 defeat to United last April.

In fact, the 31-year-old only played a total of 86 minutes in the whole of 2023 due to injury and ill-form. Several clubs had been linked with a move for Lingard this summer but the midfielder failed to reach an agreement with any interested party.

Now, Sky Sports says it has learned that the player has terminated his association with his former representatives.
