Manchester United's draw against Southampton does not matter in the fight for the top four. The Red Devils could have leapfrogged Chelsea and Leicester with three points after both clubs suffered huge losses to Sheffield United and Bournemouth.
And that was very much the case up until the sixth minute of stoppage time. United were 2-1 up thanks to a quickfire double from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial that took them into the lead.
Stuart Armstrong had earlier given the Saints the lead in a pulsating opening half hour. But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men could not build on that lead after the break.
