Paul Pogba's "special status" could see him named in France's World Cup squad even if he is not up to fitness. That is according to French publication L'Equipe, who claim that the Manchester United flop could return to action with Juventus just ten days before the start of the Qatar tournament.
Pogba is currently out injured after undergoing surgery on a knee injury he picked up during pre-season training in July. The 29-year-old initially wanted to avoid going under the knife and opted for a shorter but riskier treatment.

The man in charge of the operation, professor Roberto Rossi, believes Pogba should have come in for surgery sooner.
