Sam Heughan has finally revealed what he keeps in his beloved sporran.The Scots star who is best known for his role as Highland Warrior Jamie Fraser in the time-travelling drama Outlander appeared on the Kelly Clarkson show on Monday night.The pair enjoyed a drink together - as Sam promoted his new Gin line, The Sassenach Wild Scottish Gin.The star has released various alcoholic lines since he shot to fame in 2014, with all of his collection - which includes Whisky and Tequila - a sweet nod to his character Jamie Fraser and his on-screen wife, Claire Fraser.
Over time in the show, Jamie adopted the term 'Sassenach' when referring to Claire as a term of endearment - and because one of the things that attracts him to her, is that she is an English woman.
Appearing on the sofa alongside Kelly, the star explained: "All the botanicals are from Scotland, where I'm from."We've got toasted oats, blueberries, rhubarb, Scots pine, heather."Adding: "We've been touring around the US, pouring people gin and tonics and having a damn good time."The 43-year-old later revealed the often-asked question, what he carries with him in his sporran.
He quipped: "It's a bit like the Tardis, I've got everything in there, bottles of gin..."He added: "[I keep] a mobile phone, lip salve and anything else...
