Sam Heughan has wasted no time getting back to work after the long-running Sag-Aftra strike in Hollywood came to an end this week.As we reported yesterday, the Scots star shared his "delight" at the news that the US actors union came to a 'tentative' agreement with studio bosses to end the historic 118-day official action.
The union, which represents around 160,000 members of the industry, downed tools on July 14, causing major disruption to Hollywood productions.
Sam, who stars as Jamie Fraser in Outlander, updated fans yesterday to tell them of his happiness at being able to get back on set as filming for the last ever season of Outlander gets underway.As well as the second part of Outlander series seven due to launch next year, Sam has other projects going on too including his new series of Men In Kilts with Graham McTavish and new Channel 4 drama The Couple Next door with Eleanor Tomlinson.
Today, Sam got busy sharing some behind the scenes snaps from the most recent series of Outlander - which was divided into two parts, with the second instalment set to hit screens next year.
