One of the show's most underrated characters came in the shape and size of Mickey Pearce - essentially a 'frenemy' of Rodney - often running off with his girlfriends or swindling him out of money.
The arrogant youngster was the original Jay from The Inbetweeners due to making exaggerated boasts about his business success and prowess with the ladies.
Played by Patrick Murray, Mickey appeared in 20 episodes of the comedy show in total. Away from the BBC hit, Patrick landed parts in big-screen movies including Curse of the Pink Panther and The Firm then retired from acting.
