It is understood that at least three vehicles from the Scottish Ambulance Service are in attendance alongside a number of marked police vehicles near Riverside Primary School.The nature of the incident is not currently known however a large cordon stretches across the road.Motorists are being diverted away from the area with traffic being directed along Orkney Street and Southcroft Street instead.Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
