Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly promised Manchester United youngster Tahith Chong that he will be granted a loan move to Werder Bremen this summer.
Chong, 20, put pen to paper on a new two-year United deal back in March, but after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by he soon asked to be sent out on loan.The Netherlands Under-21 ace only made three Premier League appearances last season - with each one coming off the bench - although he did start a number of games in the Europa League and FA Cup.Nevertheless, Chong’s agent has confirmed his client asked Solskjaer if he could join Bremen after learning of the Bundesliga club’s interest.“Mr Solskjaer kept his promise from March and told Tahith that he can leave the club,” Alkan.
