Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Love Island. The hit ITV dating show came to an epic final on August 1, with villa couple Davide and Ekin-Su crowned champs. However, this year's explosive series sparked thousands of complaints from angry viewers during its eight weeks of drama.Fans of the show fumed at alleged bullying among contestants, misogynistic behaviour, emotional abuse, possessive behaviour and more. But the broadcast media regulator has decided it won't investigate the complaints further as it argued negative behaviour was not shown in a positive light on the show.An Ofcom spokesperson said: "We carefully assessed complaints about this series on a range of issues including alleged misogynistic and bullying behaviour.“We recognise that emotionally-charged or confrontational scenes can upset some viewers.

But, in our view, negative behaviour in the villa was not shown in a positive light. Viewers saw other islanders condemning the behaviour and offering advice and support, as well as scenes where apologies were made.“We also took into account that the format of this reality show is well-established and viewers would expect to see the highs and lows as couples’ relationships are tested.”This is a breaking news story and is constantly being updated. Please refresh the page regularly to get the latest updates.
