Notorious Mexican criminal 'The Wolf' killed by coronavirus in prison

An infamous Mexican criminal dubbed “The Wolf” has died of coronavirus while serving a 492-year prison sentence. Maria Eulalia Guadalupe Buendia Torres, imprisoned in Santiaguito Tlalcilalcalli in central Mexico, was transferred to a private hospital after showing symptoms of Covid-19.

Torres, who also suffered from type 2 diabetes, died from respiratory failure in the early hours of Sunday morning. The Wolf led the Organisation of Towns and Colonies (OCP) branch of Mexico’s Institutional Revolutionary Party during the 1990s.

However, she used the organisation as a front to invade and take over peoples’ land and hand it to other party members in the state of Mexico.
