dailyrecord.co.ukuniversities have seen large numbers of students testing positive since they returned to campus. Institutions told learners they weren't allowed to socialise with anyone outside their accommodation over the weekend.
And the Scottish Government issued new guidance urging them to remain in isolation on campus where possible - however they can return home on a long-term basis.
It comes as further outbreaks in Dundee and Aberdeen Uni halls are being investigated.Yesterday, 222 cases were recorded in the previous 24hours in Scotland with no new deaths.The number of hospital admissions is on the rise with 122 in hospital currently with 16 people in intensive care.Nicola Sturgeon will give her update this afternoon around 12.15pm from St Andrew's.
