Ayrshire road safety campaign hopes to encourage drivers and bikers to ‘look out for each other’ after stark statistics showed 16 motorcyclists lost their lives in Scotland last year.
The ‘Look Out for Each Other’ campaign, launched by Ayrshire Roads Alliance and North Ayrshire Council road safety staff, hopes to highlight the importance of drivers and motorcyclists giving each other consideration on the road.In 2020, 417 motorcycle casualties were reported in Scotland, with 242 people (58 per cent) suffering serious injuries and 16 sadly losing their lives.
