The 30-year-old made his first appearance on Saturday since being cleared of any criminality following claims he sent inappropriate messages to a teenage girl on social media.Griffiths was subjected to boos from a section of the home support but also received cheers as he came on during the second half of the 6-2 trouncing.
The Scottish Sun state he didn't make the trip due a recurrence of a calf injury which has plagued his career in recent years.
Griffiths earned game time at the weekend with Albian Ajeti missing and the onus against Midtjylland will once again fall on Odsonne Edouard.
