New Manchester City signing Yan Couto has revealed that he has already met the club's Brazilian trio Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho and Ederson.
City announced the arrival of Couto with a statement on the morning of the victorious Carabao Cup final, having signed the defender up to a five-year deal and paid a fee that could rise upwards of £10million to his club, Coritiba.
City's vast scouting network has been established in South America for some time and the club had been watching Couto for more than two years before finally deciding to complete the deal after he impressed at the Under-17s World Cup.
