Scots are likely to face new coronavirus restrictions in a bid to stop the spread of the Omicron variant across the country, the Health Secretary has announced.

Humza Yousaf revealed the Scottish Government is considering putting in preventative measures as cases continue to rise. It comes as from today anyone over 30 can now book their third dose of the covid vaccine with the scheme to be rolled to over 18s later in the week.
