Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.

Netflix bosses are said to be sitting on hundreds of hours of footage of Joe Exotic and his zoo, which would allow them to create series two of Tiger King.

Show star John Reinke, who is the right-hand man of Joe Exotic, has revealed the streaming giant have confirmed they will be in touch soon about airing the footage.

The original series was a smash hit with Netflix fans, with millions of viewers across the world streaming the series during the lockdown.
