Netflix facing backlash for 'cancelling everything worth watching'

mirror.co.ukNetflix has come under fire for cancelling multiple beloved series. The complaints come as the streaming giant has cancelled a whole host of series, including some they had previously renewed for new seasons such as GLOW and The Society.
These decisions have often cited the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Netflix told Mirror Onine about the decision to cancel GLOW earlier this month: "We’ve made the difficult decision not to do a fourth season of GLOW due to COVID, which makes shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging." Elsewhere, the likes of Santa Clarita Diet, Altered Carbon, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will also not be producing new episodes.
