The Mythic Quest universe is expanding. Apple TV+ has ordered Mere Mortals, an eight-episode companion series from Mythic Quest star Ashly Burch, John Howell Harris and Katie McElhenney.

He’s not big enough!” Ian exclaims in the trailer, reacting to news of the beefy actor (playing himself) being booked to portray the egotistical developer in motion-capture. New episodes of “Mythic Quest” follow Ian and Poppy at the helm of their new banner GrimPop, making a name for themselves in the video game developer world. Over at rival studio Mythic Quest, tensions brew and loyalties are tested.

The Mythic Quest team will be one key member short, with F. Murray Abraham leaving the series before it returns for season 3.

New streamer Binge is revving up for its 2022 launch by teaming up with Ubisoft for a live-action series adaptation of Driver, based on the popular video game franchise.

Ubisoft has teamed up with Netflix to develop a live-action series based on their best-selling action-adventure video game Assassin's Creed, which originally debuted in 2007.It's a part of an overall deal with the streaming giant - which also includes animated and anime series - and executive producers Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik are now searching for a showrunner, according to Variety.'For more than 10 years, millions of fans around the world have helped shape the Assassin's Creed brand into an iconic franchise,' said Altman, head of Ubisoft Film & Television - Los Angeles.

Game on! French video game giant Ubisoft has teamed with Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, the co-writers and co-directors of the 2018 Amy Schumer-led comedy I Feel Pretty, to develop a film centered on senior citizens entering the world of esports. The film, which is currently untitled, is based on a 2019 article in the Wall Street Journal, "The Next Generation of Competitive Gamers Is … Over 60?", by Laura Parker, which focused on a group of seniors who formed a competitive esports team.
