NASA 's deep space exploration rocket built by Boeing saw it's ground test cut short after it briefly ignited all four engines.
On Saturday, the engines of its behemoth core stage were ignited for the first time, but the crucial test was cut short after only a minute.The ground test was scheduled to advance the US government programme to return humans to the moon in the next few years, which is already delayed.The Space Launch System's (SLS) 212-foot tall core stage roared to life at 4.27pm local time (10.27pm GMT) at the testing facility at NASA's Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
