A mum wants to invite her friends to her daughter's abroad wedding claiming it's 'her day too' after offering to pay for the full nuptials.

The mum, whose daughter is due to marry in September 2024, took to Reddit to ask for advice. The Mirror reports the 68-year-old mum wrote: “I want to invite my friends to my daughter's destination wedding - it's my day too.

We have been arguing over this and she told me to post this here for opinions.”She added: “For context, I am paying for the whole wedding.

She is pretty introverted and doesn’t have a lot of friends she wants to invite. Her husband-to-be on the other hand is very extroverted and has a lot of people he would invite given the chance.
