mirror.co.ukA mum inadvertently sparked a fierce debate over the 'correct' way to hang washing after asking if she had been using clothes pegs wrong "my whole life".
She said she had always hung clothes and towels over the washing line and used the pegs to hold the two hanging sides together, rather than fixing it to the line on the top.
Attaching a picture of her technique, she wrote: "I think this is the right way to use clothes pegs, not putting them on the top.
I have been doing it wrong my whole life. What do you think?" It attracted some very strong responses after being posted on the Mums Who Cook, Clean and Organise Facebook group, with other members saying they "hated" the idea and branded her "insane".
