Although freezing your food - like cheese, milk and butter - is a viable option while it's still fresh, one mum has explained how you can keep your bread fresher for longer - even after the use-by date.
The savvy mum said that she had run out of room in her freezer and since she didn't want to waste the loaf of bread she had leftover, needed to find a way to keep it as fresh as she could for as long as possible, reports The Sun.
