A mum fined by police for taking her daughter walking on a beach five miles from her home says she has barely slept since the ordeal.
Katy Teer, 34, was slapped with a fixed penalty notice after driving to a beauty spot north of Liverpool last month. She had hoped to take daughter Darcy, five, out for a stroll but was approached by officers as soon as she parked.
Katy said she was told she had broken lockdown rules and would be receiving a police caution, reports the Liverpool Echo. The shop worker, who lost her barbering business during the first lockdown, said the incident has caused her much anxiety. Do you have a view on this story?
