Moped rider launches microwave at driver's car as it gets lodged in smashed windscreen
dailystar.co.ukdriver has been hurt after a lout oddly decided to launch a microwave through his windscreen.And it happened while the car was driving at full speed late at night.The shocking incident took place on Saturday night (October 16) and the man was driving a blue Ford Fiesta on Heapham Road in Gainsborough.READ MORE: 'I gave soaking wet phantom hitchhiker a lift before clocking he was just a ghost'The scary moment started when the car driver saw a moped with two people on it coming towards him with no lights on at 11pm.The pillion passenger then launched the kitchen appliance as the scooter passed by, causing the windscreen to shatter and glass to spray inside the car.
A shocking photograph shows how the microwave became lodged into the glass after the driver was injured during the bizarre attack.Police are now hunting the thug and believe they could be behind other incidents of criminal damage in the town.
