Four hurt after horror two-car smash on Scots road as emergency services race to the scene

Emergency services remain at the scene of a two car smash which left four people injured in Fife. Police were called to reports of a collision on Kingseat Road in Halbeath, Dunfermline, shortly after 6.30pm on Wednesday, October 26.

Four people involved in the crash have been accessed by paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service. The extent of their injuries is not currently known.

Officers have closed the road at the junction with Whytefield Road and Townhill Road while recovery of the vehicles remains ongoing.

A picture taken near the scene shows multiple blue lights flashing from emergency response vehicles.A statement from Police Scotland said: “Around 6.35 pm on Wednesday, 26 October 2022, police attended a report of a two vehicle crash on Kingseat Road, Halbeath, Fife."The Scottish Ambulance Service attended to assess the four persons involved in the incident."Kingseat Road has been closed at the junction with Whytefield Road and Townhill Road."
