Kristoffer Ajer travelled back to Scotland on Sunday amid questions over a potential quarantine period. The Norwegian national team's Nations League campaign was thrown into chaos this week after full-back Omar Elabdellaoui returned a positive Covid-19 test.
The entire squad was denied permission to travel for a clash with Romania and the players were left unable to leave Oslo. A report from TV2 states they've now been permitted to return to their clubs on the condition they complete a 10-day isolation.
However, Norwegian health director Espen Nakstad explained that as the nation's laws do not apply abroad, the implementation of the quarantine will be decided by Scottish Covid-19 regulations.
