A volunteer involved in continuing searches in Tenerife for missing Lancashire teenager Jay Slater has told how the remote area is like a 'labyrinth'.
Juan Garcia is leading members of a local hiking group, who are volunteering their time to help find Jay. They were pictured on Saturday - together with members of the teen's family - involved in a search of a gorge close to the area in Masca where his phone last 'pinged'.
The hostile land is covered in cacti and bushes. Mr Garcia said it was 'like looking for a needle in a haystack'. He's said to be an experienced hiker and spoke to Sky News from the scene. She revealed a hiking group is planning out routes for a 'wonderful group of locals' volunteering their time to help find him.
