Jay Slater's heartbroken parents have placed tributes near a ravine in Tenerife where their son's body was discovered. Bouquets of blue and white flowers were left with touching messages from the 19-year-old's mum Debbie Duncan, dad Warren Slater and older brother Zak.

The tributes were placed on the dirt track not far from the treacherous ravine where Jay's body was discovered on Monday morning, the Mirror reports.

On a note left with some flowers, the teenager's heartbroken mum Debbie wrote: "To my beautiful boy, I am so sorry we never found you. READ NEXT: Search expert's verdict on why Jay Slater may have ventured into perilous Tenerife ravine "I miss you so much.

You will be forever young and forever missed. Mum xxx". His older brother Zak's note said: "Love you little bro, never in a million years did I think I would be saying this.
