Almost four weeks have passed since Jay Slater vanished after partying in Tenerife. The 19-year-old apprentice bricklayer travelled more than 30km north to a remote Airbnb called Casa Abuela Tina early on June 17, having left the Papagayo nightclub in Playa de las Americas.
He had been invited to the accommodation by two men - including convicted drug dealer Ayub Qassim, 31, who says he let him stay at the property in north-west Tenerife after 'his friends had all left him'.
But on the same morning, Jay left the property on foot, and headed further north into the Rural Parc de Teno, his last known location.
Emergency services spent almost a fortnight in the area where Jay's phone last sent a signal, before cops called time on the official search on June 30.
