Missing Jay Slater's devastated dad has told how the search for his teenage son is 'like a riddle' he sadly has no answer to.
Warren Slater joined a team of 10 volunteers on Saturday to scour the mountainous and hostile region in Tenerife where the 19-year-old is believed to have gone missing.
Images of the search effort have been revealed. The group spent several hours, in baking 25C heat, as they searched the Valley of Barranco de Juan Lopez, close to the village of Masca.
Speaking about the rugged terrain, Mr Slater said: “It’s the fourth time I’ve done this. It was hard, I nearly put my eye out.” READ MORE: Eerie signs of life seen in remote valley where Jay Slater disappeared He also voiced the family’s frustration about the investigation.
