Tragic news has emerged from Tenerife, as Spanish police confirm the discovery of a body in the search for missing British teenager Jay Slater.The Guardia Civil spokesperson stated today that "everything is pointing" to it being the 19 year old, who is believed to have had an accident in the area where he was found. Jay went missing on 17 June after leaving an Airbnb in a remote village, which he had gone back to following a three-day music festival with friends.

Almost four weeks have passed since Jay Slater vanished after partying in Tenerife. The 19-year-old apprentice bricklayer travelled more than 30km north to a remote Airbnb called Casa Abuela Tina early on June 17, having left the Papagayo nightclub in Playa de las Americas.
