A missing Brit is "in need of medical attention" after being found by his concerned family in Tenerife.Liam Hannigan was on holiday on the Spanish island and staying with friends he met on the trip after first jetting out with his partner on December 29.

But the 34-year-old had not been in touch with family or friends since February 7, sparking concerns at home in Greater Manchester.

An appeal was launched with his information shared by the Missing Person's Tenerife page on social media. However, earlier this evening his sister Ellie confirmed he has been found after they flew out to search for him, reports the Mirror.

She shared in a Facebook post: "My Mum and Dad have successfully found Liam while searching for him in Tenerife this evening.
