Holidaymakers travelling to Spain are being reminded that they will need to be able to provide extra documentation on arrival in the country this summer.When arriving in any of the country's popular holiday hotspots before December 2024, you were only required to show your valid passport or ID card at border control.
But in December, Spain announced new data collection rules for tourists which the country said were implemented to 'fight terrorism and organised crime'.
And Scots have been warned to carry five key documents with them as they could be asked tp produce them when they arrive at Spanish border control.
The Foreign Office (FCDO) has advised that people will need to be able to show, if asked: 1. A return ticket or onward ticket 2.
